Lunch Menu

We have a three-week menu so that the children are offered a variety of healthy meals. Please see the new menus below for the autumn term. These will be in use from after the Easter holiday until the summer. We are now offering a blue band (the Grange meal deal) and a yellow band (jacket potato) every day alongside the red and green bands.

 

The kitchen team spend time talking to the children about the meals they like when putting the menus together to ensure that the children are offered the food that they enjoy eating! 

The children use a band system to make their lunch choices at the start of the day.

  • Red is a meat option

  • Green is a vegetarian option

  • Yellow is a jacket potato with filling (cheese, beans or tuna) 

  • Blue consists of a sandwich, roll, wrap or baguette with a choice of fillings

We have a fresh salad bar and choice of fresh fruit or yoghurt every day. Milk or drinking water is also provided.

All infant and EYFS children are entitled to a free school meal. For junior children, the cost is £2.30 a day, payable on School Money. We no longer take cash, so please let us know if you are having any trouble with the School Money app. If you are entitled to claim a free school meal for your child, you can either complete the form available from the school office or an online application here.
